This shit be beautiful: New Work Magazine
Typically when I see some dope design I’ll ask myself: “why is this design so AMAZING? What is it that I’m so infatuated with about this design?” Not until recently, I realized (usually) it’s tiny tiny copy that makes my toes curl. Tiny copy and having your way with a grid. So why don’t I just start to make all the copy that I work with tiny? Because you wouldn’t be able to read it. I suppose it’s not so much tiny bitty copy that creams my jeans as it is copy that’s dwarfed by the format. NWM is a magazine printed on 23″x32″ which makes for tons of room to fuck around with and, if you’re smart, use to make something that might make a young Norwegian boy up in Seattle feel all giddy inside.
