I was given an assignment to portray the letter ‘N’ while communicating the decade of the sixties. While doing a heap of research, I came across Andy Warhol’s ‘Shot Blue Marilyn.’ An idea hit me and, in the interest of time, just jumped into starting ‘Maril-N.’ I learned ‘Shot Blue Marilyn’ was a screen print and I decided that now’s as good a time as any to learn screen printing. Luckily one of my roommates is a seasoned master at screen printing due to making piles and piles of tshirts for his band, The Raggedy Anns.
