Human Respiratory System

The way it works is that these avian fuckers have multiple bonus air sacs outside of their lungs which expand and collapse simultaneously. One set expands to create a vacuum and draw in oxygen which fills the sacs and the lungs while the other expands to draw out carbon dioxide from the lungs. Then they collapse to push the oxygen stored in the IN sac into the lungs while the OUT sac pushed carbon dioxide out of the body.  from what I can tell the lungs are NEVER EMPTY. just stare at the diagram for a while and it’ll hit you how it all works and PLEASE correct me on anything I’ve gotten wrong

Sometime in the near future, the Human Genome Project might have a hay-day incorporating your feathered eugenic sensibilities. I know I was tickled by the second diagram. If looking seriously into lung expansion, I suggest taking tips from some Nihon oyster divers.
